A traditional children’s party on the occasion of the St. Nikolas, was held today in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation “Dr Miroslav Zotović”. Children who reside in the Children’s Department of the Institute, as part of their rehabilitation programs, have prepared a performance in gratitude to the representatives of ministries, cities, institutions and organizations with whom the Institute receives support throughout the year in an effort to provide children with better quality treatment.
Children’s departments, at any time in the rehabilitation process, include about 150 children of all ages with different diagnoses. Some of them are residing at the Department, some have rehabilitation as an outpatient, or through a day hospital. Every child who comes to us is at the center of our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team led by a physician who includes professionals from different profiles such as physiotherapists, work therapists, psychologists, speech therapists, social workers and medical technicians.
Numerous guests have enjoyed the adventures of Snow White and the seven dwarfs, the experiences of children’s heroes and humorous scenes. The musical part of the performance was performed by the children’s choir of the Borisav Stankovic Elementary School together with the children from the “Dr Miroslav Zotovic” Institute.
Like every year, guests have left many gifts that have sparked the child’s delight, and, that their day was left in a long memory, was secured by Santa Claus, who, after the show, waited in the game room.
