Institute “Dr Miroslav Zotović” once again brought together regional and local experts in the field of pain diagnostics and treatment at the II Symposium entitled “Modern Approaches to Pain Diagnosis and Treatment”.
The symposium was held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the Congress Hall of the Spa Slatina and was organized by the Institute “Dr Miroslav Zotovic” and the Erasmus + Program of the European Union.
In the first part of the Symposium, about one hundred participants had the opportunity to hear lectures by Dr. Sc. Mire Fingler, Honorary President of HUBKB, Darko Golić, PhD, Gordane Ljubojevic, M. Pharm and Snezana Tomasevic Todorovic, PhD, who spoke about their years of experience in the treatment and treatment of pain.
After the break, Doc. dr. Ivan Rados from the Institute for Pain Management of the Clinical Hospital Center in Osijek, presented the work of the Institute and their experiences in this field.
The team of the “Dr Miroslav Zotović” Institute and the University Clinical Centre of RS consisting of Tatjana Bućma, Ph.D. Dr. Ostoja Savic, Dr. Tatjana Boskic, Lena Topic Arambasic, psychologist and Ana Grubisic, social worker spoke about the experiences and results of the SCS system installation in the treatment of chronic pain.
The conclusion of the Symposium is that this is one of the topics of the future that should be given more attention in order to improve the quality of patients life.
